This is the sixth volume in this series, which is a Webtoon reimagining the Greek gods.
In this series we’re following Persephone, who is a goddess raised in the mortal realm by her overprotective mother, Demeter. She wants to go to university in Olympus though, so her mother allows her to share a house with Artemis.
We also see Hades, who is, of course, the King of the Underworld. He sees Persephone one night while out with his brothers—Zeus and Poseidon— at a club and he’s immediately taken with her. Throughout the series, we watch as their relationship develops, as they go through their own struggles. Additionally, we get interspersed stories and perspectives from the other gods, many of which are inspired by the original myths.
I love this series. I think it’s really cute. I like what the author has done with the characters. I like how she explores topics like abuse or finding your feet as an adult, navigating messy relationships and so on.
I started this series last year, and it was one of my favourites of the year. I’d highly recommend for anyone who’s into romance or romantasy.
